Security you can configure. RDP uses TLS. Compatible VeNCrypt VNC servers can optionally require certificate-verified TLS. Check security compatibility.

Your Mac, on your iPad.

Enable Mac Screen Sharing and set a VNC password. Start on the same trusted local network, then add your own VPN for access away from home.

Use the separately configured VNC password, rather than your Mac account password. Standard Mac Screen Sharing does not support the optional certificate-verified VNC mode.

Your Windows desktop, with you.

Your PC needs a compatible, reachable RDP or VNC server. Add its address and connection details in GlanceVNC; RDP computers are added manually.

Start on your local network. For access away from home, use your own VPN that provides a route to your computer. RDP gateways and Azure sign-in are not supported.

Your Linux machine, close at hand.

Run a compatible VNC or RDP server on your Linux computer or Raspberry Pi. Add its address and credentials, or discover compatible VNC services locally.

Server compatibility matters. Optional certificate-verified VNC requires VeNCrypt 0.2 with an X.509 mode. Check the support page for authentication and encoding details.

Requires an iPhone or iPad running iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 or later. GlanceVNC does not provide a hosted remote-access relay.
